The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the specific timings for the KCET exams. These exams were held from April 22 to April 24. Exam Day Schedule Details
Students were allowed to enter the exam hall starting at 10:10 AM for identity verification and to find their seats. At 10:20 AM, the question paper and answer booklets were brought into the hall. These booklets were shown to the candidates before they were given out.
At 10:25 AM, the question booklets were distributed. Students had five minutes to write their roll number and the version code on the booklet. It was not allowed to open the booklet before the exam officially started.
Students were asked to reach the exam center early. Entry to the exam hall closed strictly at 10:30 AM, which was also the time the exam began. KEA also set warning bells to help students manage their exam time.
Warning Bell Timings
The first warning bell rang at 11:00 AM, letting students know they had 30 minutes left to finish the exam. The second and final warning bell rang at 11:25 AM, indicating only five minutes were left.
The exam ended exactly at 11:30 AM. After this time, students had to stop writing and submit their answer sheets before leaving the hall.
Important Guidelines for Candidates
Students were advised to carry their KCET admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam center. They were also told to report to the center well before the start time and follow all instructions given by the exam invigilators.
