The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is starting the KCET 2026 exams from tomorrow, April 23. Around 3.3 lakh students are expected to take the test across the state. The exam will be held in 745 centres.
The exam will cover Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. Today, April 22, the Kannada Language Test was conducted.
KCET 2026 Exam Schedule
The main subjects will be tested over two days. Here is the schedule:

Important Exam Day Information
Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 45 to 60 minutes before the reporting time. Entry will not be allowed after 10:40 AM for the morning session and 2:40 PM for the afternoon session.
The KEA follows a strict bell system for timing:
- 1st Bell (10:20 AM / 02:20 PM): Students can enter the exam hall. OMR sheets will be given.
- 3rd Bell (10:40 AM / 02:40 PM): The exam starts. No one can enter after this bell.
- 7th Bell (11:50 AM / 03:50 PM): The exam ends. OMR sheets will be collected.
Students need to bring their admit card to the exam centre. The admit card can be downloaded from the official KEA website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea .
