The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is closing the application window for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2026 today, April 20. Students who wish to apply for postgraduate courses in Karnataka must complete their applications before midnight.
Those who have already applied or will apply today have until April 22 to pay the application fee. The KEA had previously extended the application deadline from April 8 to April 20, stating that this is the final date.
The Karnataka PGCET exam is scheduled for May 23 and May 24 . The exam for MTech courses will be held on May 23, while the exams for MBA and MCA courses will take place on May 24.
Students who complete their applications and pay the fee by the deadlines will be issued admit cards to appear for the exam.
PGCET 2026 Application Fee
The fee to apply for the Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam depends on the number of courses a student chooses:

- Degree completion certificate
- Recent passport-sized photograph (JPG format, max 50 KB)
- Signature (JPG format, max 50 KB)
- Left-hand thumb impression (JPG format, max 50 KB)
