Karnataka PGCET 2026 MBA, MCA exams are underway today , June 14, 2026. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is conducting the postgraduate entrance test for admissions to MBA and MCA programs. Thousands of students are taking the exam across the state.
Exam Schedule and Entry Times
The MBA exam is scheduled from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM . The MCA exam follows from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM . Candidates must arrive before the reporting time for security checks. Late entry is prohibited after exams begin.
MBA candidates must be seated by 10:00 AM . MCA candidates need to complete entry formalities before the afternoon session starts.
Exam Pattern Details
The Karnataka PGCET MBA exam has 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question is worth one mark. The exam duration is 120 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The test covers English language, general knowledge, analytical ability, logical reasoning, quantitative analysis, and computer awareness.
Required Documents
Candidates must bring essential documents to the exam center:

- Original valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID)
- Recent passport-size photographs (if specified)
Electronic gadgets, smartwatches, and calculators are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Exam Rescheduling Information
The MBA and MCA examinations were initially planned for May 24, 2026. KEA rescheduled the exams to June 14, 2026. This change was made to avoid conflict with the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination. The new date allows candidates to appear for both tests.
