Draft Seat Matrix Open for Objections
The release follows the schedule for the first round of seat allotment, announced July 27, 2026. Candidates have a three-day window to submit objections or suggestions regarding the draft seat matrix. The deadline for these submissions is Friday, July 31, 2026.
Up to 10 percent of approved intake seats are allocated for second-year (third semester) Engineering degree courses via Lateral Entry. This is according to the official notice regarding the DCET 2026 Draft Seat Matrix, dated July 28, 2026.
Written objections or suggestions must be sent to the Secretary, Department of Higher Education. The physical address is 2nd Gate, 6th Floor, MS Building, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bengaluru. An email address for submissions is also available.
Submissions received after the July 31 deadline will not be considered.
