The JoSAA 2026 counselling registration and choice filling opened on June 2, 2026, at 5 PM . JEE Mains and JEE Advanced qualifiers can now select their preferred engineering programs and institutions on the official JoSAA website.
This counselling process covers admissions to 23 IITs, IISc Bengaluru, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 56 other government-funded technical institutes (GFTIs).

These include Open, Persons with Disability (PwD), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer - OBC-NCL), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST).
