This examination is for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, a network of fully residential schools across India. The Phase 2 exam was conducted in specific winter-bound geographical areas using traditional pen-and-paper OMR sheets.
How to Check JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 Results
Parents and students can access individual results through the candidate portal. This requires the student's examination roll number and date of birth.
To check the result:
- Visit navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.nic.in.
- Click the link for 'JNVST Class VI Phase II (Winter Bound) Result 2026'.
- Enter the candidate's roll number.
- Select the candidate's date of birth from the calendar.
- Click 'Check Result/Submit'.
- The result will show if the candidate is 'Selected' or 'Not Selected'.
Downloading the Region-Wise Selection List
NVS has also published consolidated PDF lists of selected candidates for each region. These lists allow for quick scanning of multiple names.
To download a region-wise list:
- Navigate to the 'Latest @NVS' or 'Admission' section on the homepage.
- Click on 'Download Selection List PDF for Phase-II JNVST 2026'.
- Open the downloaded PDF file.
- Use the Ctrl+F function to search for a specific student's name or roll number within the document.
Students who have been selected must submit required documents. These include proof of residence, age, and village education to their assigned schools. The merit list serves as the gateway for this documentation process.
