Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has opened applications for undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs for the 2026-27 academic year. The registration portal is live on the official JNU entrance examination website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
Application Deadline
Students must submit their applications by July 22, 2026 . Admissions to these programs are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 scores.

JNU is offering the following programs through this application process:
- B.A. (Hons.) in Foreign Languages
- B.Sc. Programme in Ayurveda Biology
- Certificate of Proficiency Programmes (COP)
How to Apply
Candidates must follow a multi-step online application process:
Step 1: Registration and DigiLocker Consent
Begin by clicking 'New Registration' on the homepage. After reading instructions, consent to proceed. The system redirects to DigiLocker for authentication. New users must sign up using a mobile number and OTP. Select an identity type (Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License) and fill in personal details. Existing users log in with their registered credentials.
Step 2: Verify Contact Information and Set Password
Enter a valid email ID and mobile number. Provide permanent and present addresses. Create a password for your JNU login. This password, combined with your CUET UG application number, will be used for JNU logins. Submit a security pin and verify OTPs sent to your email and mobile.
Step 3: Personal and Qualification Details
Input all required personal and academic qualification details accurately. Double-check all entries before submission, as these details cannot be changed later.
Step 4: Upload Documents
Upload scanned images of a recent photograph, signature, and the CUET UG scorecard 2026. Ensure files are in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format. Photograph size should be between 10 KB to 200 KB. Signature size must be between 4 KB to 30 KB. CUET UG scorecard size should be between 10 KB to 200 KB.
Step 5: Application Fee Payment
The application fee is payable online in INR. After successful payment, download the complete application form. The fee is non-refundable.
