Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) closed registration for its 2026-2027 Monsoon semester today, July 13, 2026. Students seeking admission must apply by this date. The application process for the monsoon session is conducted offline. Interested students need to visit the university campus to apply for programs and submit fees.

Late Registration Options
Students can still register after the deadline with a late fee. A fee of Rs. 100 applies for registration up to seven days late. Registration between seven and 14 days late requires a Rs. 200 fee. For late registration exceeding 14 days, the fee is Rs. 500 .
Requests for registration due to valid reasons will be evaluated individually. Students need to submit no-dues clearance from the library, Proctor Office, Sports Office, and other relevant departments to complete registration.
Student Elections
Jawaharlal Nehru University Student Union (JNUSU) elections are scheduled within 6 to 8 weeks after the monsoon session begins. Student Faculty Committee (SFC) elections will follow. Notification and schedules for SFC elections will be issued by the concerned Dean or Chairperson two weeks after the JNUSU elections.
