JMI Placements: 34 Students Hired by TCS, Highest Package ₹11.59 LPA

Jamia Millia Islamia University students secured 34 job offers from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) during recent campus recruitments. Offers were extended to students pursuing B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and M.Sc. degrees.

TCS Recruitment Drive

The University Placement Cell (UPC) managed the recruitment process. An initial aptitude test saw 300 participants. This was followed by technical and HR interviews for 117 candidates.

TCS offered positions across three tiers based on candidate performance and skills.

Offer Tiers and Salaries

The highest package offered was ₹11.59 Lakh Per Annum (LPA) for the TCS Prime profile. This role focuses on high-end software engineering and R&D.

The TCS Digital profile attracted 26 students. These positions offer salaries ranging from ₹7.09 LPA to ₹7.39 LPA. This tier involves digital technologies, cloud, and AI/ML.

Seven students received offers for the TCS Ninja position. These roles, focused on core systems and software development, offer salaries from ₹3.46 LPA to ₹3.62 LPA.

Students from the Department of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Computer Science were eligible.
