Required Documents for Examination
Candidates must bring essential documents to the exam center. These include:
- A hard copy of the JELET 2026 Admit Card .
- A recent color photograph.
- An original photo identity card . Accepted IDs include Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter Card, 10th Standard Admit Card, or School ID Card.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Adherence to instructions is crucial for smooth examination. Candidates should:
- Arrive at the exam center at least 60 minutes before the start time for biometric verification.
- Use only a blue or black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet.
- Not carry prohibited items like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, or personal bags into the exam hall.
- Complete the OMR sheet carefully, avoiding stray marks.
- Remain seated until the exam duration is over and papers are collected.
Tie-Breaking Policy
In case of a tie in scores, WBJEEB applies a specific tie-breaking policy. For both Paper I and Paper II, priority is given to candidates with fewer negative marks. Further ties are broken based on marks obtained in specific subjects in descending order of preference (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry for Paper I). If a tie persists, the older candidate receives preference. The application number, in ascending order, is the final tie-breaker.
Model answer keys will be released shortly after the exam. Dates for raising objections against the answer key will be announced later. Exam results will be declared subsequently.
