Freeze or Float Options Explained
The JEECUP counseling process offers two primary options after seat allotment: Freeze and Float.
The Freeze option is for candidates satisfied with their current course and college assignment. Selecting this option finalizes their admission in the allocated seat.
The Float option allows candidates to accept their current seat but remain eligible for consideration in subsequent counseling rounds. This enables them to pursue a potentially better college or course placement.

The online Freeze/Float selection window is active until July 6, 2026, at 3 PM . Candidates must complete this selection and deposit required fees.
Document verification at district Help Centres is also scheduled for today, July 6, 2026. Applicants must bring original and photocopied documents for verification.
