Applications for the JEECUP 2026 examination have started today, January 15, 2026 . Students in Uttar Pradesh who wish to join polytechnic diploma courses can now apply online. The Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEEC), Uttar Pradesh, has opened the application link on its official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in . Only students who meet the eligibility rules can get admission to polytechnic colleges across the state.
Students need to complete a few steps to apply. First, they must register on the website. After registration, they will fill out the application form with their details. Next, they need to upload required documents. Finally, they must pay the application fee online.
The application fees are different for various student categories:
- For General and OBC category students, the fee is Rs 300 .
- For SC and ST category students, the fee is Rs 200 .
Students can apply for a maximum of three different course groups. It is very important for all applicants to check if they meet the specific eligibility rules for each course group they choose. These rules can be different for various diploma programs.
JEECUP 2026 Eligibility Rules
Below are the detailed eligibility rules for different course groups. Students must have passed or be appearing for the specified class to apply for each group.

| Group C (Fashion Design, Home Science, Textile Design & Engineering) | Passed Class 10 with at least 35% marks. Students appearing for Class 10 can also apply. |
| Group D (Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice) | Passed Class 12 or appearing for Class 12. Must have studied Hindi and English in both Class 10 and Class 12. |
| Group D (Library & Information Science) | Passed Class 12 or appearing for Class 12. |
| Group E1 (Bio) / E2 (Math) (Diploma in Pharmacy) | Passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics and Chemistry as main subjects, along with Maths or Biology (Zoology and Botany). |
| Group F (Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology (Tissue Culture)) | Passed BSc or appearing for BSc with Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry. |
| Group G (Post Graduate Diploma Course) | Graduated in any subject or appearing for graduation. |
| Group H (Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology) | Passed Class 12 or appearing for Class 12 with at least 35% marks. |
| Group I (Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering) | Passed Class 12 Science or appearing for Class 12 Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. Must have at least 50% marks in total for these subjects. |
