How to Download JEE Main Admit Card
Students can follow these simple steps to download their JEE Main 2026 admit card:

- Click on the link for "JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1" under the Candidate Activity section.
- Enter your Application Number , Password/Date of Birth , and the Security Pin .
- Your JEE Main Admit Card will appear on the screen.

What to Carry on Exam Day
Candidates must bring the following documents along with their JEE Main 2026 admit card to the exam centre:
- One passport-size photograph (the same one used during application).
- One valid photo ID proof. This can be a School Identity Card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar Card (with photo), e-Aadhaar (with photo), Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photo), or a Bank Passbook (with photo).
- A medical certificate (only for PwD/PwBD candidates who need a scribe).
- A Ball Point Pen.
Important Instructions for Candidates
After downloading the admit card, students must check all the details carefully. If any mistake is found, they should contact the NTA helpline immediately at 011-40759000 or email jeemain-nta@gov.in . Candidates must also paste their photograph in the designated space and get their left thumb impression done in the specified box before reaching the exam centre. Signing the admit card should only be done in the presence of the exam invigilator.
The NTA has also released the JEE Main 2026 self-declaration form, which is a mandatory document for exam day. Electronic gadgets like smartwatches, mobile phones, and calculators are not allowed inside the exam centre.
The JEE Main admit card is a crucial document. It is advised to keep it safe even after the exam, as it will be needed for counselling and admission processes. The exam city intimation slip provides only the exam city, while the admit card contains the exact exam centre address, date, and time.
