The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to open the online registration link for the JEE Main 2026 second session exam sometime this week. Students who have passed or are appearing for their Class 12 exams can fill out the application form. Candidates need to visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in , to register.
The NTA has not yet released the official registration dates. A detailed notice containing the exam schedule and registration dates for the second session is expected shortly.
It is important for students to ensure their Aadhaar card, UDID card (if applicable for persons with disabilities), and category certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) are updated before they apply.

How to Apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2
The NTA will activate the registration link on their official website. Students can follow these steps to apply:
- Go to the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in .
- On the homepage, find and click on the JEE Main Session 2 registration link.
- Complete the initial registration to get your login details.
- Log in again using your credentials to fill out the JEE Main online application form.
- Upload necessary documents and pay the application fee.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page for your records.
Candidates can only fill out the JEE Main application form online. There is no offline option. If you don't have a personal computer, you can use a computer center.
If you want to appear for both sessions, you can fill out separate application forms for each session. However, you can also choose to fill a combined application form for both sessions during the second session's application process. Once registered for the first session, you can use the same application number and password to apply for the second session, only needing to update details like paper choice, exam center preference, and pay the fee.
You do not need to send a printout of the application form to the NTA office. It is advised to download and keep a copy of the filled application form safe for future use, such as during the admission process.
