The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 for Session 1 has seen a great number of students taking the exam. In the first four days, from January 21 to January 24, over 10 lakh students appeared. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the exam, reported that 96.26% of the registered candidates showed up.
A total of 10,36,211 candidates sat for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exam during these four days. The NTA also mentioned that the exam was conducted smoothly. To ensure fairness and safety, the agency used Aadhaar for identity checks. About 96.19% of students were verified using this method.
