Students must ensure their Aadhaar details are correct and up-to-date before starting the registration process. This will help in a smooth application experience.

JEE Main Exam Dates and Opportunities

  • Two Sessions:
  • Session 1 will be held from January 21 to January 30, 2026 .
  • Session 2 will be held from April 1 to April 10, 2026 .
  • Number of Attempts: Students can appear for the JEE Main exam a total of 6 times over three consecutive years. This means students have multiple opportunities to try and achieve their desired scores.
  • More Exam Cities: NTA plans to increase the number of exam cities. This will make it easier for students from different regions to reach their test centers. This step aims to improve access for many engineering hopefuls.
  • Support for PwD/PwBD Candidates: NTA is also focusing on providing better facilities and support for students with disabilities (PwD/PwBD) who will appear for JEE Main 2026. This ensures a fair and accessible testing environment for everyone.
