New Changes in JEE Main 2026 Application Process

• Mandatory Live Photo Capture: You must take a live photo using your computer's webcam during the online registration. You cannot upload an old photo. This helps in automatic identity verification.
• Automatic Identity Verification: The system will now automatically check your identity based on the information you provide and your live photo.
• Aadhar Address-Based Centre Allocation: Exam centres will be allotted based on the address linked to your Aadhar card. This aims to make the process fairer and reduce travel for students.
• Revised File Size Limits: The size limits for uploading documents have changed. Your passport-sized photograph must be between 10 KB and 200 KB . Your signature must be between 10 KB and 100 KB .
• UDID Certificate for PwD Candidates: Students with disabilities must upload their UDID (Unique Disability Identity Card) certificate. The file size for this PDF document should be between 50 KB and 300 KB .
• No Correction Window for Photo: Once you submit your application, you will not be able to change or correct your uploaded photo. Make sure your live photo is clear and meets all requirements before final submission.
