Next Steps for Students
Students who did not qualify for JEE Advanced can still participate in JoSAA counselling. This is for admissions to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), and other engineering colleges that accept JEE Main scores.
Admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) requires a JEE Advanced score. Qualifying for JEE Advanced does not automatically register students for the exam.
Students must complete the JEE Advanced 2026 online application form. They also need to meet other eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced. Details on registration and eligibility are available online.
