JEE Main 2026 Correction Window Closes Today: Last Chance to Edit Forms

Students who applied for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 session 1 have a final chance to correct their application forms. The online correction window will close today, December 2, 2025 , at 11:50 PM . The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked all candidates to check their forms carefully and make any needed changes before the deadline.

This is a very important step. If there are mistakes in the application form, it can cause problems later. Only those who have successfully completed their registration and paid the fees can use this correction service. After today, the NTA will not open any more correction windows for this session.

How to Correct Your JEE Main 2026 Application Form

Follow these simple steps to make changes to your form:

    Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in . This is the only place to make corrections.

  • Step 2: Log In to Your Account

    Find the login area. Enter your unique application number and your chosen password . Make sure these details are correct to access your form.

  • Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number

    After logging in, you will need to verify your identity. An One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to the phone number you registered with. Enter this OTP on the website to get access to the correction facility.

  • Step 4: Make Necessary Changes

    Once you are in the correction section, look for the links on the left side menu under 'Application Form Steps'. Click on the specific section where you need to make changes. For example, if your name is spelled wrong, go to the personal details section. Change only the information that is incorrect.

  • Step 5: Submit the Updated Form

    After making all the needed changes, review the entire form one last time. Be very careful to ensure everything is correct. Then, submit your revised application form.

  • Step 6: Pay Extra Fees (If Applicable)

    Sometimes, changing certain details might mean you need to pay an extra fee. For example, changing your category from General to OBC (NCL) or adding another exam paper might require payment. If there is an extra fee, pay it online to complete the correction process.

  • Step 7: Download Confirmation Page

    After submitting the revised form and paying any fees, a new confirmation page will appear. This page will show all your updated information. Download this page and print it out . Keep it safe for your records. This is proof that your corrections were accepted.

  • Always take a printout of the revised Confirmation Page . This document is important for future use.
