How to Download Your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card
Follow these simple steps to download your hall ticket:
- Step 1: Go to the official JEE Main 2026 website: jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Step 2: Look for the link that says 'JEE Main admit card download' or similar. Click on this link.
- Step 3: You will be taken to a login page. Here, enter your application number and your password .
- Step 4: After logging in, the link to download your admit card will appear on your screen.
- Step 5: Download the admit card and take a clear printout. Make sure all details are clearly visible.
Key Details on Your Admit Card
Once you have downloaded your admit card, check the following details carefully:
- Your Name
- Your Roll Number
- Your Photograph and Signature
- Date of Birth
- Category (General, OBC, SC, ST, etc.)
- JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam Date
- Exam Shift (Morning/Afternoon)
- Name and Address of your Allotted Exam Centre
- Important instructions for the exam day

Important Instructions for Exam Day
The admit card also includes a self-declaration page. You must fill this page correctly and carry it along with your main admit card to the exam centre. Before you reach the exam centre, make sure to do the following:
- Paste one recent passport-size photograph in the space provided on the admit card. This photo should be the same as the one you used in your application form.
- Put your left thumb impression in the specified box on the admit card.
Do NOT sign your admit card before reaching the exam centre. The space for your signature should be left blank. You will sign your admit card at the exam centre in front of the invigilator.
What to Carry to the Exam Centre
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry the following items:
- A printed copy of your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card (with pasted photo and thumb impression).
- One original, valid photo identification (ID) proof . You can choose any one of these:
- School Identity Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Aadhaar Card (with photograph)
- e-Aadhaar (with photograph)
- Class 12 Board Admit Card (with photograph)
- Bank Passbook (with Photograph)
- A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
- For PwD/PwBD candidates, a valid Medical Certificate (if you are taking scribe service).
Make sure you do not carry any banned items like electronic devices, notes, or any other unauthorized materials into the examination hall.
