JEE Main 2026 Admit Card for Jan 28, 29 Expected Today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 exams scheduled for January 28 and 29, 2026 , very soon. Students can download their admit cards from the official NTA website: jeemain.nta.nic.in . This admit card is mandatory for entry to the exam hall.

NTA released the admit cards for exams held on January 21, 22, 23, and 24, 2026, on January 17, 2026 . Generally, admit cards are made available about 3-4 days before the exam date. Students should regularly check the official website for updates on the January 28 and 29 admit cards.

How to Download Your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card

Follow these simple steps to download your admit card:

  • Go to the official website: jeemain.nta.nic.in .
  • Click on the link for "JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Session 1" under "Candidate Activity".
  • Enter your Application Number , Password (or Date of Birth), and the Security Pin shown on the screen.
  • Click "Sign In".
  • Your JEE Main Admit Card will display on the screen.
  • Review all details carefully, then download and print at least two copies.

Important Details to Check on Your Admit Card

After downloading, check these details on your admit card:

  • Your Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth
  • Gender and Category
  • Roll Number and Application Number
  • Paper for which you are appearing (Paper 1, 2A, or 2B)
  • Name and Address of your Exam Centre
  • Time of your Exam
  • Your Photograph and Signature

Actions After Downloading the Admit Card

  • Paste Photo: Affix a recent passport-size colour photograph. It must be the same photo used in your application.
  • Thumb Impression: Put your left-hand thumb impression in the specified box before reaching the centre.
  • Signature: Do NOT sign beforehand. Sign only inside the exam hall, in the presence of an invigilator.
  • Self-Declaration Form: Complete and carry the mandatory self-declaration form from the admit card.

Documents to Carry to the Exam Centre

On exam day, you must carry:

  • A printed copy of your JEE Main 2026 Admit Card .
  • One passport-size photo.
  • One original photo ID proof (e.g., School ID, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhaar, e-Aadhaar, Class 12 Board Admit Card with photo, Bank Passbook with Photograph).
  • If applicable, your Medical Certificate (for PwD/PwBD candidates needing a scribe).
  • A simple Ball Point Pen .

Key Rules for Exam Day

Students must follow these rules:

  • Punctuality: Reach the exam centre at least 1.5 hours before the reporting time. Late entry is not allowed after gates close.
  • No Electronics: Smartwatches, mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic gadgets are strictly banned inside the exam hall. A timer will be shown on the computer screen.
  • Preserve Admit Card: Keep your admit card safe even after the exam for counselling and admission processes.
