Shubham Kumar secured the top rank in the JEE Advanced 2026 examination. The results were announced by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee on June 1, 2026 . Kumar, from the IIT Delhi Zone, achieved a perfect score of 330 out of 360 possible marks.
The JEE Advanced exams saw a high number of participants. A total of 187,389 students registered for the examination. Of these, 179,694 students appeared for the tests. The results are now available for candidates to download their scorecards from the official JEE Advanced website. Candidates can access their scores using their login credentials.
JEE Advanced 2026 Top Performers
The official rank list confirms Shubham Kumar's first position. Two other candidates also from the IIT Delhi Zone secured the second and third positions. Kabeer Chhillar placed second with 329 marks. Jatin Chahar secured third place with 319 marks.
The top three candidates all achieved scores close to the maximum. This indicates a highly competitive performance among the leading students.
