Items to Carry

- Printed JEE Advanced 2026 admit card .
- Original, government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, PAN, Voter ID, School/College ID). Digital copies or photocopies are not accepted.
- Basic stationery: pens and pencils for rough work.
- A transparent water bottle. Remove all commercial labels.
Dress Code Restrictions
Adhere to a strict dress code. Certain clothing items and accessories are prohibited.
- Do not wear jewelry or metallic items. This includes rings, bracelets, earrings, nose pins, chains, necklaces, pendants, badges, or brooches.
- Avoid clothing with large buttons, elaborate embroidery, or multiple pockets.
- Charms, talismans, or sacred threads with metallic parts are banned.
- Mandatory sacred items require early reporting for manual screening.
Banned Items
Possessing banned items is considered an attempt to use unfair means. This can lead to severe consequences.
- Electronic Gadgets : All watches (analog and smart), mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, fitness trackers, health bands, and electronic pens.
- Stationery & Accessories : Printed or blank paper sheets, log tables, writing pads, pencil boxes, pouches, clipboards, calculators, scales, and erasers.
- Personal Belongings : Handbags, wallets, sunglasses/goggles, cameras, scanners, and storage devices like pen drives.
Zero Tolerance for Unfair Means
Invigilators and IIT representatives will conduct identity verification. Cheating will result in disqualification from JEE Advanced. This can also cancel admission processes and lead to a ban or legal action.
