The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has opened a window for students to correct their application forms for the Class 10 Board Exams 2026. This is a last chance for students to fix any mistakes in their details. Schools can make these corrections online until January 2, 2026.
All students, whether regular or private, who registered for the 2024–26 session and will appear for the Annual Secondary Examination 2026, can use this correction facility. The online portal for corrections opened on December 28, 2025, and will close on January 2, 2026. Students must ensure their details are correct to avoid problems with their admit cards or exam results later.

- Step 2: Log in using your Registration Number and the security Captcha code.
- Step 3: You will see your Student Information Sheet on the screen. Carefully check all your details.
- Step 4: If you find any mistakes, download this information sheet.
- Step 5: Clearly write down all the corrections you need to make on the downloaded sheet.
- Step 6: Submit this corrected sheet to your school principal or the assigned teacher.
It is very important for students to check every detail, including their name, parent's name, date of birth, and other personal information, to ensure everything is accurate.
How Schools Will Make Corrections
Once students submit their correction requests, schools have specific steps to follow:
- Step 1: Schools will log in to the JAC Exam Form Portal using their official User ID and Password.
- Step 2: They will find an option called “Correct Student Data” on the portal.
- Step 3: Schools will update the student details online based on the requests received from students.
- Step 4: After completing all corrections, schools must download a final checklist of corrected data.
- Step 5: This downloaded checklist must be submitted to the JAC office within one week of making the corrections.
Final Deadline for Schools and Important Advice
The JAC has made it clear that this correction period is the final opportunity for students. No further requests for corrections will be accepted after the deadline of January 2, 2026. Schools must also make sure to submit the complete consolidated list of students, along with the challan copy (fee payment proof), and other required documents to the JAC office by January 5, 2026.
Students should work closely with their schools and confirm that all their details are verified correctly. This will help prevent any problems when their admit cards are issued or during other stages of the examination process for the Class 10 Board Exams 2026.
