Four students tied for the top rank in the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) 10th examination. Priyanshu Kumari, Shiwangi Kumari, Prem Kumar Sahu, and Sunny Kumar Verma all scored 99.6% marks. The Jharkhand Academic Council released the results on April 23, 2026 .
JAC 10th Topper Details
The four top-scoring students achieved 498 out of 500 marks. Priyanshu Kumari is from Hazaribagh. Shiwangi Kumari is from Simdega. Prem Kumar Sahu and Sunny Kumar Verma are both from Ranchi. Girls again achieved excellent results at the top level.
The JAC 10th examination saw 422,109 students appear. This was out of 424,001 registered candidates. The overall pass percentage for the examination was 95.28%.

District-Wise Performance
Gumla district recorded the highest pass percentage. It achieved a 99.32% pass rate. Dumka followed with 99.02%. Pakur district had a 98.56% pass rate.
These results reflect strong academic performance across various districts. Both government and private schools showed similar good results.
