The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) is accepting applications for its government scholarship program for the 2026-2027 academic year . The program targets postgraduate and doctoral students, as well as foreign language learners.
Scholarship Details
The scholarship offers two main options. The first is an eight-month grant for Master's, PhD, or postdoctoral studies at Israeli universities. These include The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Tel Aviv University, Haifa University, and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
The second option is a three-week summer grant for Hebrew language study, known as Ulpan. This program focuses on immersive language learning.
Selected candidates receive full grants. These grants cover up to 50% tuition reduction . They also include insurance coverage. Monthly living allowances are provided. The total grant package is valued at approximately $6,000 .
Eligibility Criteria

Application Process

The dossier must include notarized transcripts and certificates. Two recommendation letters are also required. All documents should be submitted to the Israeli Embassy in the applicant's country of residence.
