Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IP University) launched online Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) programs. The fee is Rs 15,000 per semester . The admission brochure was released on August 24.
The first batch for these three-year programs begins on September 15, 2026 . Both courses will be available through the university’s Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). They will offer multiple entry and exit options, following the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Program Details
The academic fee for the online BBA and B.Com is set at Rs 15,000 per semester . The total duration for each program is three years. IP University stated these online programs aim to increase access to higher education globally.
Online Delivery
Courses will use a SWAYAM-enabled Learning Management System (LMS). IP University partnered with IIT Madras for this initiative. Faculty from IP University and its affiliated colleges developed the course content.
Students will access recorded lectures, e-content, and digital learning resources. Weekly live interactive sessions will connect students with faculty for doubt clearing and academic guidance. Mentoring and learner support are included.
Future Online Programs
IP University plans to expand its online offerings. The university will introduce three more programs soon: Master of Computer Applications (MCA), MA in Mass Communication, and PG Diploma in Healthcare Management.
