India Post will soon start taking applications for about 28,740 jobs across the country. These jobs are for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), Branch Post Master (BPM), and Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) positions. The application process will begin on January 31, 2026 . How to Apply

Who Can Apply (Eligibility)

- You should have basic computer knowledge .
- You should know how to cycle .
- You must have your own means of livelihood.
There will be no written exam . Your selection will be based on the marks you got in your Class 10 exams.
Salary Details
The monthly salary for these posts is attractive:
- Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) and Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts: Rs 10,000 to Rs 24,470 per month.
- Branch Post Master (BPM) posts: Rs 12,000 to Rs 29,380 per month.
