Application Fees
The application fee is non-refundable. Candidates must pay the fee online while submitting their application form.
- For General, OBC, Foreign, and NRI candidates: INR 1,600
- For SC, ST, and PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates: INR 800
Payment can be made using Internet Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.
Eligibility for MBA Program
To apply for the MBA program at IIT Madras, candidates must meet certain conditions:
- Indian Nationals: A valid CAT 2025 score is required.
- Final-Year Students: Students in their final year of graduation can apply. However, they must complete all degree requirements before joining the MBA program.
- IIT Graduates: Graduates from any IIT with a CGPA of 8.0 or higher do not need a CAT score.
- Foreign Applicants: Can submit a GMAT score instead of a CAT score.
- Sponsored Candidates: People sponsored by their employers can also apply. Specific conditions apply for these candidates.
Selection Process
IIT Madras follows a detailed process to select students for its MBA program. The first step is shortlisting candidates based on a total score that includes several factors:
