IIT Kharagpur launched four new online executive programs in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and technology leadership. The programs start in 2026 . This marks the institute's expansion into structured online executive education.
The courses target working professionals. They focus on practical skills for AI and ML applications. The curriculum covers areas like Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven software. Experts from IIT Kharagpur's computer science, AI, and leadership departments developed the programs.
New Programs Offered
The institute offers two types of executive programs. These are Executive Post-Graduate Certificates (EPGCs) and an Executive Program.
Executive Post-Graduate Certificates (EPGCs)
The EPGCs focus on specialized AI and ML skills. They aim to provide end-to-end, production-ready capabilities.

Applicants must register using a professional email address. The application requires academic records and professional experience. Candidates must also upload a resume and degree certificates. An application processing fee is required. Applicants will undergo a screening process after submission.
