Students at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) have received a large number of job offers for the 2025-26 placement season. By December 2025, students secured a total of 1,275 job offers. This includes many early job offers given before the main placement rounds.
More than 1,140 students at IIT Delhi have already received at least one job offer. The placement drive, which helps students find jobs, will continue until May 2026. This means more students can expect to find jobs in the coming months.
More Early Job Offers (PPOs)
This year, there has been a notable increase in Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). IIT Delhi students received over 300 PPOs. This number is more than 33 percent higher than the PPOs received last year. PPOs are job offers given to students based on their performance during internships or other work experiences with companies before the main placement season begins.
IIT Delhi officials said that PPOs are very important for overall job outcomes. They are especially helpful for students studying core engineering, data analytics, and various technology fields. These early offers show that companies are keen to hire talented students early.
