Accessing Your Seat Allotment
To view the Round 5 seat allotment, applicants must log in using their application number and password. The result will be available for download in PDF format. This document confirms the seat offered and outlines the next steps in the admission process.
Failure to respond to the allotment or pay the required seat acceptance fee will result in the forfeiture of the offered seat. This means the candidate will not be considered for admission.
Steps to Download the Allotment Letter
Candidates should follow these steps to retrieve their IISER Round 5 seat allotment letter:

- Locate and click on the link for the IISER admission Round 5 results.
- Enter your application number and password to log in.
- Download the IISER seat allotment letter.
- Print a copy for your records and future use.

Admission and Seat Acceptance
Once a seat is allotted, candidates must decide whether to accept or reject the offer. Two options are available for acceptance:
- Accept & Float : This allows candidates to remain eligible for higher preference seats in subsequent counseling rounds while securing the current offer.
- Accept & Freeze : This option confirms the currently allotted seat, concluding the selection process for the candidate.
Following acceptance, candidates must pay the IISER Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF) online. The deadline for SAF payment is August 26, 2026 .
