IIM Lucknow has opened applications for its new Bachelor of Science program in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics. The program is specifically for students who have qualified for the JEE Advanced examination. This marks IIM Lucknow's entry into undergraduate education, joining other IIMs like Bangalore, Kozhikode, Sambalpur, and Sirmaur.
The first batch of the BS program will admit 60 students. Interested candidates can apply online through the official IIM Lucknow website. The application deadline is July 3, 2026 .
Eligibility and Admission
The program is open to Indian citizens who completed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in 2025 or 2026. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be among their core subjects. Admissions will consider both academic performance and JEE Advanced scores.
Candidates from Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories will receive a 5% mark relaxation in eligibility, as per government regulations.

Curriculum and Opportunities
The BS program combines technology and business studies. Students will learn about artificial intelligence, machine learning, data engineering, and business analytics. Topics include data warehousing, big data, cloud computing, computer vision, and deep learning.
Students will also get hands-on experience in IIM Lucknow's specialized labs. These include labs for Business Intelligence, Computer Vision, Digital Transformation, Linguistics, and Social AI.
A key feature is a direct pathway to IIM Lucknow's proposed Tech-MBA program. This program is expected to launch in the 2027-28 academic year. Eligible BS graduates can transition to the Tech-MBA after their third year, creating an integrated dual-degree option.
The institute aims to prepare graduates for roles such as AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Business Analysts. Opportunities exist in sectors like technology, consulting, financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce.
