CAT 2024 Application Correction Window Opens

As the CAT 2024 registrations ends, a window for correction of forms is set to open soon. IIM Calcutta has notified that the correction window will open in the second week of September. Reportedly 3.3L aspirants have filled the form for CAT 2024 and only they will be eligible for form correction.
CAT 2024 Correction Changes
CAT form correction window will enable candidates to edit the following -
- Candidate Photograph
- Candidate Signature
- Candidate Exam City Preference
Also, the following fields will not be editable as per the information -
- Candidate Name
- Candidate DOB
- Candidate Contact Information (Phone Number, Email)
- Candidate State
As per the information from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta the correction window will be open for 3 days and candidates will be able to change the details by logging in to online portal itself. CAT 2024 is scheduled to happen on 24th November 2024.
How to Make Corrections in CAT Exam Form 2024?
To change the details in your registration form, candidates will have to follow following steps -
- Go to the official CAT 2024 website: iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the "Existing User" button.
- Log in using your User ID and Password, then click “Login.”
- You can now update your photo, signature, or make other changes to your form.
- After making the changes, click “Save.”
- Download and print your updated CAT 2024 registration form.
* Note that the corrections made will be final and candidates will not get another chance to correct the mistakes.
Important points to remember while correcting your CAT 2024 Registration
- Keep all necessary documents ready while filling out the CAT 2024 application form to avoid errors like misspellings, incorrect addresses, or Aadhar details.
- Double-check all information entered in the form to prevent mistakes.
- After the registration window closes, you can edit your photograph, signature, and test city preferences.
- The edit option will only be available for candidates who have successfully registered and paid the fee within the deadline.
- Please note that the candidates use the same image in application and admit card.
