Wait is finally over! IIM Bodh Gaya has announced the final result of the 2025-27 batch of the Post Graduate Program (PGP). The result was announced on May 9, 2025, along with other IIMs involved in the Common Admission Process (CAP). This year, as well as IIM Bodh Gaya, was the CAP 2025 coordinating institute and hence conducted the selection of many newer IIMs.

Final Results and Selection Process

Final results complete the CAP 2025 process. Previously, candidates had to undergo Personal Interview (PI) rounds from February 17 to March 22, 2025. Now final results are announced. Final results show whether a candidate is admitted, on a waiting list, or not selected.

IIM Bodh Gaya Interview Results 2025: Final Admission Stage

The IIM Bodh Gaya Interview Result 2025, or final admission result, is the final and most important stage of the IIM Bodh Gaya selection process. This outcome is due to the composite performance of a candidate on several parameters. These are their CAT 2024 score, Class 10, 12, and graduation academic record, work experience, if any, and Personal Interview (PI) performance. IIM Bodh Gaya, along with seven other CAP-participating IIMs, admits on a composite score. This combined score provides a comprehensive overview of the candidate's profile. The PI is carried out to assess some of the most notable qualities and soft skills required to thrive in a management program. The candidates who appeared for CAP 2025 can verify their final admission status as follows:

1. Log in to the IIM CAP 2025 official website: cap2025.iimbg.ac.in
2. On the home page, search and click on the "Admissions 2025" top link.
3. Click on the "PGP" option (Post Graduate Programme).
4. You will be requested to log in with your CAT 2024 admission number and email ID or date of birth.
5. After logging in, your final choice status (waitlist, selected, or not selected) will be displayed.
6. You may download or save a copy of your result for reference and action in the future.

Students are asked to continue to look for updates, admission formalities, instructions, and deadlines on your registered email if you are waitlisted or admitted.

IIM Bodh Gaya Waitlist Movement 2025

Waitlist movement at IIM Bodh Gaya is the process through which waitlisted students are offered admission in case of available seats. This typically happens when some of the admitted students decline. Thus, those seats are then offered to waitlist candidates. Seats vary based on the number of students who decline their offer. Waitlist movement for IIM Bodh Gaya should occur around May 22, 2025. While waitlisting, you need to keep checking your mail and site for any information.

IIM Bodh Gaya Merit List 2025

IIM Bodh Gaya Merit List 2025 consists of names of students who have performed well in Personal Interview (PI) and achieved the minimum level of marks, which is also known as Minimum Performance Requirement (MPR). If the student fails to achieve below this minimum level during the interview, then his/her name will never appear on the final merit list.

How the Merit List Prepared?

MPR is calculated annually by the Admission Committee of IIM Bodh Gaya on the basis of total merit of the candidates. While the absolute score still fluctuates from year to year, the merit list is prepared considering three things:

1. CAT Score – 45% Weightage

IIM Bodh Gaya takes into account the CAT 2024 exam score (not percentile, but actual score). This is given 45% weightage in the marks of the merit list.

2. Personal Appearance – 25% Weightage

It includes:

• PI (Personal Interview): 20%
• WAT (Written Ability Test): 5%

Your performance in both PI and WAT therefore becomes extremely crucial.

3. Profile – 30% Weightage

It looks into your background and includes three components:

a. Academic Profile – 14%

• You have 6 points each, if you are above 60% in 10th and 12th.
• You have 6 points, if you are above 60% in graduation (UG).

If you are CA, CS, or CMA, you will receive 6 full marks in the UG category as well.

b. Work Experience – 16%

If you have work experience, you will receive higher points.

Ranking is purely done on the basis of years of experience. The more the years, the greater the marks up to a level.

IIM Bodh Gaya Offer Acceptance Fee and Withdrawal

After the release of the merit list, you have to make a deposit of Rs. 20,000 as an Expression of Interest (EoI) to convey that you are willing to become a member of IIM Bodh Gaya. Depending upon the availability of seats and where you stand on the merit list, you would be given admission if you make the same.

Once you have accepted the offer of admission, you need to pay Rs. 80,000 to secure your seat within the given time frame.

If you wish to withdraw your admission after deciding against joining and get a refund subsequently, you have an institute-prescribed time duration. You get your money back, but there is a processing charge of Rs. 1,000. The remaining amount (EoI + offer acceptance fee) will be refunded.

IIM Bodh Gaya result was released on May 9, 2025, and concluded CAP 2025 selection process. If you are a selection process candidate, you can now cross-check your result on the official CAP portal or through the institute receiving mail from them.

If you are on the shortlist, the following steps shall be required from you in due course. It comprises the payment of Offer Acceptance Fee of ₹80,000 and producing your documents in due course.
