The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has completed its Summer Placements for the PGP Class of 2027. The institute achieved 100% placements for the 2025-27 batch within the third cluster recruitment phase. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) led recruitment, hiring the most students in the niche consultancy cohort.
Cluster 3 placements operated in a hybrid mode. Some companies visited the IIMA campus. Other firms participated online. This cluster offered over 90 distinct roles across various fields, according to an official press release.

Prominent companies actively recruited during the summer placement drive. The Enterprise Technology cohort saw strong participation. Recruiters included Adobe, Apple, Microsoft, Media.net, Salesforce, and Sprinklr. These firms offered roles focused on software and digital platforms.
Samsung Electronics recruited students for consumer electronics roles. The infrastructure and core manufacturing sectors also showed increased participation. Companies like Hero MotoCorp, Suzuki Japan, and Tata Steel took part. This signals growing interest in management talent for heavy industries.
New Recruiters Join IIMA Placements
IIM Ahmedabad’s summer placements welcomed several first-time recruiters. This expanded the diversity of career paths for students. New entrants spanned various growth and traditional sectors:
- Hero MotoCorp: Entered the Infrastructure & Core Manufacturing sector.
 - SKF India: Also debuted in Infrastructure & Core Manufacturing.
 - Eternal (Zomato Group): Joined the Consumer Technology cohort.
