IIM Ahmedabad has announced the schedule for its final placement process for the 2025-26 academic year. The process for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management (PGP-FABM) will start on February 3, 2026.
Placement Process Details
The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM-A) will begin its main placement drive on February 3, 2026 . This follows the completion of the lateral placement process earlier in January. Companies from various sectors, including finance and technology, participated in the lateral placements.
Cluster-Based Recruitment
IIM Ahmedabad will continue to use a cluster-based hiring system. In this method, companies are grouped based on their industry type. These groups, called clusters, will be invited to the campus on different days.
Placement Schedule
The final placement process will follow this schedule:
- Cluster 1: February 3, 2026
- Cluster 2: February 6, 2026
- Cluster 3: February 9, 2026
If more time is needed, a rolling placement process will happen after Cluster 3.
PGP-FABM Placements
Students in the Post Graduate Programme in Food and Agri-Business Management (PGP-FABM) will also have their placements starting on February 3, 2026 . Their schedule will match the main PGP placements, with Cluster 1 on February 3, Cluster 2 on February 6, and Cluster 3 on February 9. A rolling process will follow if necessary.
Updates on Placement Days
IIM Ahmedabad will share updates with the media after each cluster's placement day. Official press releases will be published on the institute's website.
- Reports for Cluster 1 and Cluster 2 will be released on the website around 10:00 PM on their respective placement days.
- The report for Cluster 3 and a combined report will be released together.

Reliance on Official Information
The institute has asked media organizations to use only the official press releases for placement information. This will help avoid spreading wrong information.
Due to the large number of companies and students involved, the Placement Committee will not be able to answer individual media questions during the placement days. For urgent questions, media can contact the Placement Media Coordinator after 10:00 PM on placement days.
