The issue began with a leak of the Entomology question paper on August 20, 2026 . Entomology is a second-year BSc Agriculture subject at IGKV. Police arrested a professor and five students. The arrests occurred at a private college in Durg district.
Investigators then found the Plant Pathology paper was also leaked. This occurred on August 7, 2026 . The leak involved Bharatiya Agricultural College Durg. The university has issued a notice to the college. It demands an explanation for the confidentiality breach.
Students detained by Raipur Police will face disciplinary action. Show cause notices were sent to observers. These notices concern the Entomology and Plant Pathology exams at the Durg college.
Re-Tests and New Security Measures
Both leaked exams will be rescheduled. The re-tests are set for the first week of September . Students have a clear timeline for their next attempt.
