The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will open a portal for students to obtain evaluated answer books from the CS June 2026 examinations starting August 26, 2026. This process does not require an RTI application.
Students who took the June 2026 examinations can access their answer book copies online. The deadline to request these copies is 45 days after the result declaration, which falls on October 9, 2026.
Applying for Answer Books
To apply for an evaluated answer book copy, students must visit the official portal at cc.icsi.edu . They will need to enter their roll number, registration number, and date of birth.
Upon submission, a user ID and password will be sent to the student's registered email address from cpioexam@icsi.edu . These credentials are required to log in to the cc.icsi.edu portal and access the answer books.
Students facing difficulties accessing their answer books should email cpioexam@icsi.edu before the record retention period ends on October 9, 2026.
Important Guidelines
The portal features two main tabs: "Apply Answer Books" for submitting applications and "View Answer Books" for accessing requested copies.
If a student simultaneously applies for Verification of Marks, Certified Copies, or Inspection of Answer Books, their application will be processed according to those specific guidelines. Answer books will be provided after these procedures are completed.
Answer book copies are for the student's personal reference and educational use only. They must not be shared with any other person or published online, including social media. Public comments on valuation or sharing copies are strictly prohibited and will be treated seriously.
Students with grievances about valuation errors must apply for Verification of Marks. This application, along with the required fee, must be submitted through the Student Login on the ICSI SMASH Portal. The deadline is 60 days from the result declaration or 15 days from accessing the answer book, whichever is earlier, as per Regulation 42(2) of the CS Regulations, 1982.
