The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the exam dates for its Chartered Accountant (CA) exams for May 2026 . Students planning to appear for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses should note these important dates. The exams will take place from May 2 to May 20, 2026 . Most papers will be held in the afternoon, from 2 PM to 5 PM .

Exam Timings
Most of the CA exam papers across the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels will be held for three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM . However, some papers will have a shorter duration. For example, CA Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be two-hour exams.
Students will also get extra time, known as advance reading time, for certain papers. ICAI rules will specify which papers include this extra reading time.
Exam Centres
The CA May 2026 examinations will be held in many cities across India. ICAI will also set up exam centers in a few locations outside India. These international centers include Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Kathmandu, and Bahrain . For international centers, a minimum number of students must apply for the center to be available.
