The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has increased the number of job openings for Clerk positions in banks across India. The total number of vacancies for IBPS Clerk 2025 is now 13,533 . Earlier, IBPS had announced 10,277 vacancies. This means 3,256 more jobs are now available.
This update was announced on October 27 . Students who took the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam are waiting for their results, which will be released soon. The main exam for IBPS Clerk 2025 is scheduled for November 29 .
More Job Openings for Bank Clerks
The increase in vacancies offers more chances for students hoping to join public sector banks as Clerks. Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of vacancies, with 2,346 job openings. Karnataka follows with 1,248 vacancies, and Tamil Nadu has 1,161 vacancies.
These Clerk positions are open in various public sector banks throughout India. The jobs are divided by state and also by different categories like SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and General.
