The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has announced the dates for the 2026 supplementary examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students. The exams are scheduled to begin in early July 2026.

HPBOSE Class 10 supplementary exams will take place from July 3 to July 10, 2026 . Class 12 supplementary exams are scheduled from July 3 to July 16, 2026 . The board released the official schedule in a PDF document. Students can find the exact dates and timings on the HPBOSE official website.
Exam Details
Both Class 10 and Class 12 supplementary examinations will be conducted in a single shift . The exam timing is from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM . This timing applies to all designated examination centers across the state.

Admit Card Information
Students must obtain their admit cards from their respective schools. These cards are mandatory for entry. The admit card will contain candidate details, exam center location, and reporting time. Candidates should collect their admit cards well in advance of the exam dates.
Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must report to their exam center at least one hour before the examination begins . Entry will be denied to students arriving half an hour after the exam starts. Students are prohibited from leaving the examination center before the exam concludes.

- Smartphones
- Smart watches
- Calculators
- Bluetooth devices
- Pagers
- Any other electronic devices
Books, study materials, and any form of paper are also not permitted. Any student caught cheating will face immediate disqualification from the examination.
Importance of Supplementary Exams
Passing the supplementary examinations is necessary for students to progress. Successful completion of the Class 10 supplementary exams allows students to enroll in Class 11. Passing the Class 12 supplementary exams is required for eligibility for higher education programs.
