The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Haryana has changed the postgraduate admission schedule for 2026. The final merit list for first-phase counseling will now be released on August 24, 2026 . This is a shift from the original August 11 date.
Revised Admission Timeline
Registrations for postgraduate admissions are now open until August 21, 2026 . A new merit list will be generated based on these extended registrations. Students can access both the provisional and final merit lists on the official website, admissions.highereduhry.ac.in, through the "Know Your Result" tab once they are published.

Merit List Information
The DHE Haryana PG 2026 merit list will include candidate details. These typically include the candidate's name, application number, roll number, marks obtained, gender, stream, and category. The list will also show the allotted college and the reporting time.
Counseling for Leftover Seats
A counseling session for remaining postgraduate seats will also be conducted. The application portal for this will reopen on August 29, 2026 . Physical counseling for these seats will run from August 30 to September 5, 2026, with a late fee of Rs 100. Students registering for leftover seat counseling from September 6 to September 12, 2026, will pay a total fee of Rs 100 plus Rs 100 per day.
