The deadline to apply for Haryana Group C recruitment is today, June 30, 2026. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is accepting applications for 1,238 posts. Candidates who passed the Common Eligibility Test (CET) can submit their applications on the official HSSC website, hssc.gov.in.
Changes to submitted applications can be made from July 1 to July 7, 2026. No application fees are required for this recruitment drive.
Recruitment Details
This recruitment drive targets vacancies for Prison Warder and Assistant Superintendent Jail. Positions are available for both male and female candidates. The selection process involves a written examination, followed by a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) where applicable, a Physical Screening Test, and Document Verification (DV).
Exam Information
The written exam uses a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format. It consists of 100 questions and has a duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
To qualify, General category candidates must score at least 50% marks. Reserved category candidates require a minimum of 40 percentile.

Applicants must upload scanned copies of the following with their application:
- All educational qualification certificates from Matriculation onwards.
- A recent color photograph with a white background. The date and candidate's name must be clearly written on the photograph.
- Candidate's scanned signature.
- An undertaking as per Annexure V.
Candidates claiming reservations under categories like Deprived Scheduled Castes (DSC)/ Other Scheduled Castes (OSC), Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Ex-Servicemen must provide relevant category certificates and supporting documents.
