The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) will begin evaluating answer sheets for Class 10 and 12 board exams on April 2, 2026. Results are expected in May.
Evaluation Schedule
The board announced that Class 10 answer sheet evaluation starts on April 2, 2026 . This process will occur at 75 centers across 22 districts. Approximately 6,969 teachers are assigned to grade Class 10 papers. The evaluation for Class 10 is scheduled to conclude by April 24 .
For Class 12, the evaluation begins one day later, on April 3, 2026 . Over 5,000 examiners will work at 52 centers for the Class 12 papers. This evaluation period is expected to end by April 28 .
Result Announcements
Class 12 results are anticipated in the second week of May 2026 . Class 10 results will follow shortly after.
Monitoring and Quality Control
The HBSE has implemented a strict monitoring system for the evaluation. Examiners will review 15 answer sheets on the first day. This number increases to 30 copies per day thereafter. Chief examiners will randomly check 10% of all graded papers to ensure accuracy.

The 2026 examinations commenced on February 25. These exams align with the board's modernization efforts under the National Education Policy.
