Haryana Adds 25 Buniyaad Centers, Kurukshetra Library

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced 25 new centers for the state's 'Buniyaad' scheme on Tuesday. The announcement came during a ceremony honoring students who qualified for IIT/JEE exams. This expansion aims to bolster preparations for competitive tests through a virtual network and a new digital library.

Buniyaad Scheme Expansion

The 'Buniyaad' scheme identifies and supports government school students from Class 9 onwards. It provides a foundation for competitive entrance exams. The scheme currently operates 103 online learning centers. The addition of 25 new centers will bring the total to 128 centers statewide. This expansion extends the virtual coaching network.

Kurukshetra Hub Upgrades

A digital library will be established at the Super-100 training center in Kurukshetra. This facility will house 100 advanced computers . The estimated cost for the library is ₹1 crore . The Super-100 program offers free, residential coaching for IIT/JEE and NEET exams. This upgrade aims to remove academic barriers for students.

Rural Digital Libraries

The government has already established digital libraries in 600 village panchayats . This initiative is part of a larger rural development plan. It provides students with access to quality study materials locally. This reduces the need to relocate to urban coaching centers.
