A total of 37,894 seats were assigned across various undergraduate courses. The Commerce stream secured the highest number of seats at 19,799 . The Arts stream followed with 10,264 seats . The Science stream received 2,540 seat allocations .
Integrated and Professional Programs
Admissions also occurred for integrated and professional programs. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) saw 1,736 admissions . The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program enrolled 1,128 students . The Bachelor of Science (BSc) program allocated 416 seats .
Gujarat University offers several integrated courses. These include a five-year program in Game Design and Development, Data Management and Visual Insight, and Finance and Technologies. These specialized programs attracted 1,730 students . The integrated LLB program admitted 281 students .
Further Admission Rounds
University officials stated that the admission process continues. Additional rounds of seat allocation may occur to fill any remaining vacant seats. This year's allocations indicate a growing student interest in skill-based courses alongside traditional degree programs.
Central University of Gujarat Admissions
Separately, the Central University of Gujarat will begin its counselling and registration for admissions on July 13 at 10 AM. A registration fee of Rs. 100 is required. The registration period will close on July 20 at 4 PM. The university plans to release its first merit list shortly after.
