GATE 2027 Adds Robotics and Automation (RA) Paper

Indian Institute of Technology Madras has introduced a new test paper for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027 . The new paper is titled Robotics and Automation (RA) . This addition increases the total number of GATE papers from 29 to 30.

Robotics and Automation (RA) Paper Introduced

The RA paper targets candidates seeking M.Tech programs or Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) recruitment in robotics and automation fields. It assesses multidisciplinary knowledge. This includes mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, control systems, and automation technologies. The exam aims to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in these areas.

GATE 2027 Exam Pattern Details

The GATE 2027 exam will feature the new RA paper with a specific pattern. The total marks for the paper are 100. General Aptitude accounts for 15 marks. The subject-specific questions for Robotics and Automation are worth 85 marks. The exam is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates will have three hours to complete the exam.

GATE 2027 RA Syllabus Structure
