  • Look for the link titled 'GATE 2026 Admit Card Download' or 'GOAPS Login' on the homepage.
  • Click on this link. You will be redirected to the login page.
  • Enter your unique enrollment ID and your password in the required fields.
  • Once logged in, your GATE 2026 admit card will be displayed on your screen.
  • Carefully check all the information printed on the admit card for any errors.
  • Download the admit card and take a clear printout. You must carry this printed copy to the exam centre.

Your admit card serves as your entry pass to the exam hall and contains vital details. Ensure you check these points thoroughly:

  • Your full name and your parents' names.

Important Rules for GATE 2026 Exam Day

  • Bring a valid photo identification (ID) card. This ID must be the same one you provided during your GATE registration (e.g., Aadhaar card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN card, College ID).
  • You are allowed to bring a simple, transparent pen or pencil.
  • A transparent water bottle is also permitted inside the exam hall.
  • No other items, such as electronic gadgets (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators), study materials, or bags, are allowed inside the examination centre.
  • Entry into the exam hall will be strictly denied if you do not have your admit card and a valid photo ID.
  • The GATE 2026 exam will be held in two sessions: Forenoon (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Afternoon (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM) .
  • Candidates are required to reach their assigned exam centre at least one hour before the start time of their exam. This allows time for security checks and seating arrangements.
